There is something fundamentally extra sexy about an attractive woman riding a bicycle. Not cross-training, spandex-clad, energy-bar munching, helmeted, "serious"-cyclists... but women using a bicycle for transport... preferably wearing boots & a nice skirt. I never saw this in the US, but it's fairly common in Europe.

I don't have a statistically valid sampling of other men's opinions on the subject, but my view is shared unanimously with my coworkers who have traveled with me.

Re: Quick thoughts on Amsterdam

Oh, disreguard...I see now your from England. I'd image you guys arn't nearly as awful and judegmentally inclined as us americans! LOL! :)

Re: Quick thoughts on Amsterdam

"I love girls riding bicycles"

"I’m apparently not alone in my appreciation of sensible urban transport for females. My friends have made similar comments."

Really, now? Would I be wrong, therefore subjected to further shock in assuming these statements just apply to Mt. Bikes? Once upon a time I rode freestyle bikes...minus the tricks that they're built for, that is. Just always though they looked better and I'd rather not deal with "gears." Anyway, the guys I knew back then really appreciated my biking company but around high school I gave it up for fear of standing out...in a not so positive way. Don't get me wrong I don't care what people in general think about me in the least it's just that I'd rather not egg the stereotypes along and deal with the ignorance of the mass's repercussions. So, that being said...in all actuality...how many guys really do appreciate a chick that bikes?!?
